Who's Upset

Isaiah, did you do anything fun today at school?

Benjamin got in trouble today.

Oh, what did Benjamin do?

Benjamin colored on Alexandria's paper.

Did Alexandria do anything?

Yes, Alexandria did it first.  She colored Benjamin's paper first!

Oh my.  I bet Benjamin did get in trouble (assuming he got time out for this).  Was Benjamin upset?

No.

Did Alexandria get upset?

No.

Oh good.  No one got upset.

No, no.  Ms. Claire got upset!

What?  Why would Ms. Claire be upset if Benjamin and Alexandria didn't get upset?

Ms. Claire was upset.  She took Benjamin's coloring away!

I'm just a little boy

Isaiah, you need to start speaking Laos, especially when you're with grandma.

I don't know how to speak like you.  Its only for big people.

No, you need to learn how to speak Lao *speaking Laos*.

But I'm not Asian.  I'm just a little boy.

Isaiah, you can start by saying "Isaiah, yuk kin kow."  It means Isaiah is hungry.

Yucky cow?  Hahaha.  That sounds like garbage.

Hahaha.  Yes, I suppose when you say it.  It does sound like garbage.  Say it again - "Isaiah, yuk kin kow."

Hahaha.  Isaiah, yuky kow.

Iron

Mom, can you iron my pants?
Sure, let mom have it.
Can you iron my shirt too?
Uh, no.
I need it to be ironed.
Isaiah, you do not need your clothes ironed.
Please, mom?
Ok, give me the shirt.
Can you iron this shirt too (pointing to his undershirt)?
Isaiah, really?
Please, mom.  And, can you iron my socks?
