Disney World

We decided for a long time that we wanted to take Isaiah to Disney World for his 5th birthday (lucky kid)...so the week before Christmas that is what we did.  We couldn't have asked for better weather and kids.  Both Isaiah and Alana survived the 3.5 hour plane ride and the all day theme parks.  Isaiah spent his first day at the beach, Sea World and then Magic Kingdom.

It's Christmas!

This morning I woke up to find that Santa left one present under my Christmas tree.  I begged mom and dad to go downstairs to check the other tree to see if Santa left anything else.  I waited so patiently while they got the camera and video camera out...this took a long long time.  Finally, mom and dad told me to close my eyes and I did.  When I opened my eyes I didn't know what to think...I saw a train go around and around the Christmas tree and then I saw alot alot of presents too!  I think mom and dad was expecting me to scream and get all jumpy...but I didn't.  There was so many things to focus on I couldn't focus.

Santa got me alot of stuff this year.  I got a train, some blocks, some cars, and alot of stuff.

Can't Wait...

Isaiah was so excited last night that he couldn't fall asleep.  He actually woke up about 2 hours ago and asked if Santa has come by yet. 

It's 7:45 a.m. and we're waiting for our little Christmas gift we received 5 years ago to wake up.  We can't wait to see the excitement on Isaiah's face :)

Day 12

Isaiah woke up this morning to check his advent box.  He found a Hot Wheel Bat Mobile and was so excited Santa stopped by sometime during the night.

Look mom...I got the car I wanted from Target!  Oh, I didn't know Santa shops at Target.  No, mom, Santa doesn't shop at Target...Santa has his elves - his elves shop at Target for him.

Mom said Alana can hear me so I like to talk to her sometimes.  I asked mom if Alana can see me and she said no.  So, I screamed at her.  Mom said its not nice to scream at Alana because I might scare her.  I thought that was funny.

Hi Isaiah...Dad likes to post things that you say too, but Mommy never gives daddy the password for this site. Today we are going to learn how to ride your bike without training wheels. Mom says you should learn on concrete...but I said you should learn on the grass. Dad looked it up on the internet and it recommends you learn on the grass so when you fall, you wont hurt yourself. Mom says she learned on the concrete cuz she is soo "hood". Please. I have already signed you up for baseball this year too! It will be fun. I love you.

There's a baby in mom's stomach. Where? I don't see it. Its inside sleeping here. Did you eat it? No, Isaiah...Mom didn't eat it. Then how it get there? Well, Jesus put it there. No, Jesus didn't put it there. You put it in your hand then you put it in your nose.

Isaiah, you make mom so happy when you eat all her food. Why? Because it makes mom want to make more. I like it.

Valentine's Day

Yesterday I stayed home with dad. Today I'm staying home with mom. Mom said I'm still sick and can't go to school. So I'm missing out on my party at school but mom said I can pass out my treats when I feel better.

Mom asked me if I wanted one or two babies and I told her I wanted two. I told her they play with baby toys and I have cars. I hope they're baby boys like me. I don't want baby girls.

Foot loose

Friday night, we went to an indoor trampoline park. It was fun until there was a loud scream. A girl broke her foot. It was really bad...her foot was hanging from her leg. We saw her parents carry her away. I think we made sure to pray for her later that night. Mom is really sad...she can't stop thinking about her.

Today is Sunday. Mom keeps telling me she loves me so much. I think its because I sing silly songs. I ate 3 donuts and wanted more. She told me I had to finish a glass of milk if I wanted one more...so I did. Its not so hard. I asked my mom if she bought these donuts? She said she bought the donuts just for me. Just for me?...I had a big smile on my face :)

Dentist

Isaiah's first visit to the dentist. Two cavities, one needs a crown.

We are thankful for lots of things this past year. We have our health and our family. 2012 will bring us more of everything we already have. Happy 2012!

The other day, Isaiah burned himself pretty well trying to make dinner then tried to hide this. It was too strange for him to pass up on drawing (one of his favorite things to do). Today he promised his finger is good.
