Why there's no snow yet.

Isaiah explained to me this morning why there's no snow yet in Iowa. I was disappointed we woke up to no snow after the weather lady tells us for days snow will be coming. She's on the tv screen really confident that we're going to wake up to snow. What a hoot.

Isaiah...there's no snow. Mom is sad.

No snow yet.

There's no snow yet? Mom wants snow.

No snow yet. Snow sleeping.

Snow sleeping?

Uh huh. Snow sleeping. Snow get mad.

Snow is mad? No...snow is not mad.

Isaiah say "shhhhh." Snow get mad.

Recap of last several days.

Wednesday - Last minute grocery shopping. Made pumpkin pie and upside-down pineapple cake. Isaiah kept saying "I want apple pie! Now!" When he's married or can bake himself he can make whatever he wants...this year its pumpkin pie and upside-down pineapple cake.

Thursday - Woke up extra early just to put the turkey in the oven. Went back to bed. Woke up again to finish everything else. Had lunch, dessert, lunch, dessert, and then dinner. Isaiah asked for apple pie again. I already told you there's no apple pie.

Friday - Ate leftovers and more leftovers. No Black Friday shopping for me. Put up Christmas decorations and Isaiah even got to decorate his own tree. All the ornaments were in one area. If you didn't know Isaiah you would think someone short put up the ornaments. He did really good but he does think its "lotta work."

Saturday until now - All I remember is food. We just kept eating. My rib cage hurts.
